What makes us different, I think, is that we approach everything we do from a planning perspective. We think that everyone needs a financial blueprint. And, we spend a great deal of time and effort listening.
Our clients are not a number. We have very deep, intimate relationships. We do comprehensive planning, so we’re helping them with all areas of their financial life.
Our clients appreciate that they’re not going to have to look for a new advisor in the middle of their retirement. We’re structured currently to be able to take care of a retiree, retiring today, for the next 30 to 40 years.
In order to gain a client’s trust, you basically just need to do what you say you’re going to do and deliver. So, we’re that financial quarterback that helps them execute the play. We do what we say we’re going to do and we always have a motto of trying to under-promise and over-deliver.
The greatest fulfillment I get from working with our clients is having them walk out of our office with a sense of clarity. That’s why it’s very important for us to have 2 to 3 advisors on every case, because not one has all the answers. We believe in collaboration with the hope of the end result being what’s best for the client.
This is very important, this business of financial planning. The stakes are very high, because this is someone’s life savings that you’re dealing with.
If we can help guide people to reach what we call financial independence, which is that point in time when retirement becomes very affordable and work is purely optional. I get great joy out of seeing people live a more fulfilling life not worrying about their money.
